What? Michael Jackson Died? ARE YOU SERIOUS???

NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION: LETS MOVE ON TO SOMETHING OF SIGNIFICANCE AND VALUE!

So it's been a bit since I was last on here; a lot has happened. My laptop died which is one of the reasons for my delay. The other would be my slow jog around the world so go F yourself! Sorry, you didn't deserve that.

(Nor does it represent the opinions and feelings of FenwayPArkFans.com)..the best friggin Sox Website EVER!!!!!!!!!

Either way I'm back now and writing this from my new netbook. Like it a lot! You wouldn't believe how much better you feel about yourself watchin porn on a 10 inch screen.

Oh, I saw Transformers 2. Worst movie ever made though I truly could watch a movie of Megan Fox watching Transformers 2 for 2 1/2 hours so maybe I'm a hypocrite. Eat that Michael Bay! And the Sox reached the halfway point of their schedule.

As I write this (sounds all professional doesn't it) the sox are 49 and 32; a game better than the red hot Yankees. And while 17 games over 500 is truly amazing a lot more happened in the couple of weeks that I was away.

I married a prostitute from Europe to get her a green card and some health insurance so that she could get whatever it was that she gave me cleared up.

Not really, I don't get health insurance. But a lot has happened.

For one Paps became the Sox all time saves leader. ALL TIME!!! At Twenty Freakin Eight.

He is as intense on the mound as you will ever see and honestly could one day become the all time saves leader barring injury. Plays on a solid team that gives him a chance at 50 saves a year. I really think he can do it, let us hope he's wearin a Sox hat when he does.

And I am one of the optimists that feel he will be here for a long long time. I am one of the ones that think the Yankees comment was just a simple you gotta weigh the options, nothing to be alarmed about. I am one of the ones that figures a deal will get worked out and he will be one of the highest paid closers in all of MLB.

BUT, imagine if they can't. Come 2011 could the Yankees swoop in last minute a la Damon?

It's entirely possible. Or if not them who's to say the Angels, Rays, Mexican Missles (expansion) or anyone else doesn't do it? It could happen. Which leads me to this...

Could Paps become the all time saves leader on two teams? Obviously not if it's the Yankees that he signs with but if it's another team he has a shot. And if it's the Mexican Missles he is after his first save. It's entirely possible. Either way a great accomplishment for him in such a short time. Here's to hopin he's here longer. This is where you pour a little out for him. I am.

So what else...Wake made his first All Star team. At Forty Freakin Two. Now forty two isn't old in normal years. When I was younger it was ancient but now that I'm real near forty things have changed. I saw Betty White on a Jimmy Fallon clip and while I'm not going to say I would have been ready for action I definitely felt something move down there. I think if she would have been naked playing beer pong...

But back to Wake, he's forty two years old. Making his first All Star Team. It's unheard of. It's like losing your virginity at 15 when you lived on the Neverland Ranch. You know, cause it happened WAAAAAYYYYYYYYY sooner. Too soon? I know there is more than one person right now that wants to moonwalk on my face. But I digress...

He is tied for the league lead in wins with 10 (to go with 3 losses) but more importantly he kept this team together as I have said many times in the past. There is no way that went unnoticed when Maddon selected his pitchers.

It honestly couldn't have happened to a better guy! Here's to appearance number 2 at 43(yes I was a math major) Timmy. Here's to you!

A few other things happened but I'm running out of witty shit to say so let me close with final unrelated Celtics thought.

With Rasheed Wallace the Celtics are Un-Freakin-Stopable right now. He's a better version of Posey and we would have won last year injuries or not if we had kept Posey. Add a little known player named Grant Hill and things are looking good. And though the average age of the Celtics is the exact age of the Carnival Cruiselines Shuffleboard All Star Team I still feel they got better than the Cavs did by signing Shaq.

Oh, and pardon me I must say, I'm kinda like a big deal!
